QUIETLY SEATED I CONTINUE TO WAIT
QUIETLY SEATED I CONTINUE TO WAIT
Quietly seated I continue to wait.........
Even though the clock keeps ticking and my waist keeps hurting
The sweat keeps dripping off my face and my heart keeps beating
My sorrows have overshadowed my joy but yet I shall keep praying
Quietly seated I continue to wait.........
I have fought hard for so long a time
I kept on running but no where for my feet are in slime
My life is a disaster for any action I take ends me in crime
Quietly seated I continue to wait. ........
Because there is nothing more for me to do but to embrace patience Unto the heavens I gaze and in my heart I pray in silence
Quietly and patiently I continue to wait, for the Lord to come to my defence.

ANGER
ANGER
Just a little feeling but the cause of great destruction
Compressing the heart, it brings it's melody to an unpleasant discord With va complex frown, it disfigures the beauty of the face Stipulating danger to the society
With the slightest ignition, it lits up into wild fire
Displaying brutality to it's zenith
And after a little moment of scuffle
It vanishes into the thin air like evaporated water
Then suddenly, a scruple feeling is experienced
Filling the mind and the heart with remorse and regret
And that still small voice recounts
Had I known is always at last
When the only remedy to the problem is asking for pardon
But the answer required might not be acquired
Confusion and depression sets in with only one question
Oh my goodness!!! What have I done? But it will be too late.

THE HATERS
THE HATERS
It's burning within me like blazing fire
To all the hypocrites in my life, I call you liar
In my presence, you hailed me siar
But in my absence you broke my tower.
Anytime I strived to go higher
And in all my affairs grew taller
You sought to stab me harder
Your scorn and mockery grew louder.
All the supremacy and all the power
All the experiences that rendered me to sober
The more I grew, the more I grew shorter
What have you achieved being a hater.
Did my falls and failures make you much stronger
How I wish you could learn and awake from your slumber
Rather than wasting your time to put things asuder
How I wish you could grow up and start thinking bigger than being a mere hater.

THE FUTURE SHALL TELL
The future shall tell
When the clock keeps ticking every secondAnd vacation finally comes to a sad end
When workers and students hide their thoughts in pretend.
The future shall tell. .......
As we strive everyday to put smiles on people's faces
Sweating under the scorching sun, working in dangerous places
Emotionally disfigured with thoughts of millions of family cases.
The future shall tell........
When whilst praying for sunny days, the stormy clouds keep forming
Through the sad momments in tears, friends all of a sudden stop calling
And as you try to get some good sleep, the bells keep ringing.
The future shall tell........
Even if we do not make it in this life
With all our efforts and endless strife
We shall rise graciously in might in another life.

What Is Poetry All About?
Poetry (the term derives from a variant of the Greek term, poiesis, "making") is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and rhythmic[1][2][3] qualities of language—such as phonaesthetics, sound symbolism, and metre—to evoke meanings in addition to, or in place of, the prosaic ostensible meaning.
Poetry has a long history, dating back to the Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh. Early poems evolved from folk songs such as the Chinese Shijing, or from a need to retell oral epics, as with the Sanskrit Vedas, Zoroastrian Gathas, and the Homeric epics, the Iliad and the Odyssey. Ancient attempts to define poetry, such as Aristotle's Poetics, focused on the uses of speech in rhetoric, drama, song and comedy. Later attempts concentrated on features such as repetition, verse form and rhyme, and emphasized the aesthetics which distinguish poetry from more objectively informative, prosaic forms of writing. From the mid-20th century, poetry has sometimes been more generally regarded as a fundamental creative act employing language.
Poetry uses forms and conventions to suggest differential interpretation to words, or to evoke emotive responses. Devices such as assonance, alliteration, onomatopoeia and rhythm are sometimes used to achieve musical or incantatory effects. The use of ambiguity, symbolism, irony and other stylistic elements of poetic diction often leaves a poem open to multiple interpretations. Similarly figures of speech such as metaphor, simile and metonymy[4] create a resonance between otherwise disparate images—a layering of meanings, forming connections previously not perceived. Kindred forms of resonance may exist, between individual verses, in their patterns of rhyme or rhythm.
Some poetry types are specific to particular cultures and genres and respond to characteristics of the language in which the poet writes. Readers accustomed to identifying poetry with Dante, Goethe, Mickiewicz and Rumi may think of it as written in lines based on rhyme and regular meter; there are, however, traditions, such as Biblical poetry, that use other means to create rhythm and euphony. Much modern poetry reflects a critique of poetic tradition,[5] playing with and testing, among other things, the principle of euphony itself, sometimes altogether forgoing rhyme or set rhythm.[6][7] In today's increasingly globalized world, poets often adapt forms, styles and techniques from diverse cultures and languages.
